Thank you for holding the position and responsibilities of an RPG just as Jesus did while He was on earth. Remember, Jesus is the number One Royal Prayer Guard.
Thank you for continuing to pray for all prayer focuses.
As we already know many of our prayer focuses are long term, meaning we may not soon see results from our prayer efforts. This is why we need to walk by faith and not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
"for we walk by faith, not by sight." RSV
There are times of discouragement and weariness as we work for the Lord, especially as an RPG. Remember, our heavenly Father knows and can see what we do in secret.
He knows we are praying. He hears our prayers and He answers them. Our prayers have great power and they produce wonderful results.
James 5:16
“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” NKJV
Realize that whenever a wide door for effective work opens there will be many adversaries.
Royal Prayer Guards is a wide door for effective work, therefore, stay in the word of God and be alert as we move forward.
1 Corinthians 16:8-9
"But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." RSV
Three ways to be encouraged
1. Know that my door continues to stay open for you, so if you have any prayer needs just let me know. SFM_Admin@surefootedmin.org (Romans 1:9)
2. Make confessions or statements of faith. (Click here for pdf file) (or view the video bottom of page) To be spoken out loud in faith. (Romans 10:10, Proverbs 18:21) These confessions of faith will remind us of who we are and what our mission is. (John 1:19-23)
3. Visit various links within the site to receive spiritual food. Utilize the search button top right of the page.
(John 4:34, 6:27, Colossians 3:2)
