What are we aiming for in life?

Welcome all Royal Prayer Guards and all those who unite with us.
Thank you always for your time, prayer efforts, and dependability!
We must be genuine and believable
Over the next two months, let’s come together with a shared purpose: to grow in love for others and reflect Christ’s heart in all we do.
This special prayer focus is not just about words—it’s about living out love in action. By setting an example of kindness, compassion, and faith, we can inspire those around us to see Christ at work through us.
As part of this journey, let’s remember that to be effective in our prayers and our mission, we must also be genuine and believable. Let our actions align with our words, showing the power of grace and love in every interaction.
Together, let’s make this time one of growth, reflection, and impact. You are not alone on this path—let’s encourage one another as we walk it.
What are we aiming for in life?
So, what are we aiming for in life? Well, according to 1 Timothy 1:5, the goal is pretty clear: love. But not just any kind of love, it’s a love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith. That’s the kind of love that truly reflects God’s character.
1 Timothy 1:5
whereas the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith.
Pure, Conscience, Faith
Think about it: when our hearts are pure, when our conscience is clear, and when our faith is genuine, not fake or hypocritical, it shows in how we treat others. Love becomes more than just a feeling or a word; it becomes an action, an overflow of who we are in Christ.
As believers, our ultimate aim is to show God’s love to the people around us. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we’re called to do.
So, let’s strive for that kind of love—real, selfless, and grounded in faith. After all, when our souls are filled with love for God and others, everything else falls into place.
Let’s keep aiming for that!
Consider these portions of God’s word.
Colossians 3:14
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
1 Corinthians 16:14
Let all that you do be done in love.

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
Ephesians 5:2
and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
Aim True

Click here. Insights from Jeff Maynard
To aim is to point or direct anything to the desired location or object with the view to strike or affect it; as an arrow or bullet, or discourse or remark.
The idea of aiming implies that a specific goal has been determined and that a specific course of action is in the process to affect that goal.
