Surefooted Ministries (S.F.M.) offers a structured and personalized discipleship program that focuses on developing godliness and spiritual maturity among believers. Here are some key points:
- Personalized Discipleship Training:
- S.F.M. provides one-on-one discipleship training through various social media platforms.
- The training is guided by the Holy Spirit and emphasizes transparency, humility, and obedience.
- Mission and Goals:
- The primary goal is to develop godliness in each student by helping them rightly divide and apply God’s Word.
- S.F.M. aims to equip the saints to advance the kingdom of God by utilizing the power of God in everyday life.
- Scriptural Foundation:
- The ministry is inspired by scriptures such as Colossians 1:28-29, Psalms 121:3, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, and 1 Peter 2:9.
- These verses emphasize maturity in Christ, steadfastness, stewardship of God's mysteries, and the calling out of darkness into God's light.
- The Pattern Teaching Series:
- S.F.M. has developed a teaching series called "The Pattern," which reveals God's lifestyle pattern for believers.
- This series is designed to help believers incorporate God's pattern into their daily lives and advance His kingdom.
- Transformation and Growth:
- The ministry focuses on identifying and overcoming negative areas in one's life while fostering positive, godly attributes.
- Personal mentoring and practical application of biblical principles are key components of the discipleship process.
- Biblical Encouragement:
- John 3:19-21 is cited to emphasize the importance of coming into God's light and allowing one's deeds to be exposed and transformed.
- The ministry encourages believers to move forward on a "more accurate" path, similar to Apollos in Acts 18:24-26, who was guided to a more accurate understanding of the way of God.
S.F.M. seeks to guide both new and seasoned Christians towards a deeper and more effective discipleship, ultimately aiming for a transformative and mature walk with Christ.
(Theme verses behind Surefooted Ministries' purpose and formation)
John 3:19-21
"And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does what is true comes to the light, that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been wrought in God." RSV
Colossians 1:28-29
"Him we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man mature in Christ. For this I toil, striving with all the energy which he mightily inspires within me." RSV
Psalms 121:3
"He will not let your foot be moved, he who keeps you will not slumber." RSV
1 Corinthians 4:1-2
"Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful." (NKJV)
1 Peter 2:9
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (RSV)

Throughout this website, all character qualities, both written and audio, are sourced from the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) and are used with permission.
The reason I utilize these character qualities is that no other ministry or individual I know approaches this with the same level of intensity. While I may not align with every ministry, I believe in gleaning the spiritual wheat and discarding the weeds, sticks, and bones. No ministry is perfect, but we must collaborate to advance God's kingdom as best we can. Without embodying the true, excellent character qualities of Jesus, we as God’s children will not be credible!
Scriptural Foundations
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV)
9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
John 15:5 (NKJV)
5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
John 21:17 (NKJV)
He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep."
My Goal
One of my primary goals is to love Jesus by feeding His sheep—the Family of God.
Thank you,
Pastor Vince Marino
