Beneficial applications of God’s Word part 1 (Five methods)
Luke 11:28 (AMP)
“But He said, Blessed (happy and to be envied) rather are those who hear the Word of God and obey and practice it!”
Appreciation and Attribution:
The five methods used throughout this six-part series were from The 7 Laws of the Learner, produced by Walk Thru the Bible Ministries.
I am very grateful for the 7 Laws of the Learner booklet. It contains very rich information that has helped me many times. The five methods have been used throughout Beneficial Applications of God’s Word, Parts 1–6, as a framework for helping us learn how to apply God's Word.
The five methods are:
1. Passage
2. Principle
3. Personalize
4. Persuade
5. Perform
These five methods are used throughout the entire series as a guide for moving from hearing God's Word to personally applying and performing God's Word.
Character Quality Attribution
Throughout this series, all character qualities mentioned are from IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles).
Used with permission from the Institute in Basic Life Principles.
The reason why I use these character qualities:
In our collective efforts to advance God's kingdom, it is crucial to embody the exemplary character qualities of Jesus. While no ministry or individual is without flaws, our commitment to spiritual integrity and excellence must remain steadfast. By discerningly embracing the spiritual wheat and setting aside any distractions, we can enhance our effectiveness and credibility. Collaboration, despite differences, is essential in this journey. Let us strive to uphold the highest standards of character, ensuring that our actions reflect the true essence of our faith. Together, with dedication and unity, we can make a significant impact in fulfilling our shared mission.
