(1) It is wise to study and speak the inheritance. (Stored potential energy or SAP)
Proverbs 19:20
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future.” RSV
(2) It is wise to turn our inheritance into kinetic energy. (Application)
(3) It is wise to know what we have so we can use it.
(4) We cannot use what we do not know we have.
(5) Question. Is our inheritance idle or moving forward on our behalf and others?
(6) The Devil and his demons work hard to keep believers from reading, understanding and applying their inheritance.
John 1:12-13
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. NKJV
Romans 8:17
And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. AMP
(7) As His children, we have access to the inheritance.
Ephesians 3:12
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. KJV
Hebrews 9:15-17
[Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance — since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.
16 For where there is a [last] will and testament involved, the death of the one who made it must be established,
17 For a will and testament is valid and takes effect only at death, since it has no force or legal power as long as the one who made it is alive. AMP

Keep this in mind. God can at any time manifest His inheritance for His children especially if they are young in the Lord. Why? Because of His mercy and compassion. However, if a person has been born again for a long time, I believe that God desires or requires that person to pray, seek, and do His word. In other words, He is expecting His children to grow up in the Lord.
Consider the following portions of God's word.
Ephesians 4:14-15
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ—(NKJV)
Ephesians 4:14-15
No prolonged infancies among us, please. We'll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors.
15 God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. (MSG)
