Fruit 7 Series Surfing Analogies The action is in the will of God! (Wave side)
So now let us take it a step further and talk about surfing in relation to faith, doubt and glorifying God our Father.
Remember our main goal for life through our Helper the Holy Spirit is found in the following verse.
"By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples." (RSV)
Remember also our main question.
Why do we see Christians who have received the Gift of the Holy Spirit bearing little fruit or character?
The reason why is because many people are not reading God's words on a regular basis.
Reading God's word will lead us too bearing fruit.
Bearing fruit indicates maturity.
God desires us to move forward to maturity.
“Let us stop going over the same old ground again and again, always teaching those first lessons about Christ. Let us go on instead to other things and become mature in our understanding, as strong Christians ought to be.” (TLB)
In our maturity let us keep the weeds out.
“For the soil which has drunk the rain that repeatedly falls upon it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose benefit it is cultivated partakes of a blessing from God. 8 But if [that same soil] persistently bears thorns and thistles, it is considered worthless and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.” (AMP)
“When a farmer's land has had many showers upon it and good crops come up, that land has experienced God's blessing upon it. 8 But if it keeps on having crops of thistles and thorns, the land is considered no good and is ready for condemnation and burning off.” (TLB)
So now let us identify some areas involving surfing.
In this analogy, I will mix the physical with the spiritual and vice-versa as I go.
First, let us talk about the wave side vs. the bayside.
Continue listening to the teaching, don’t miss out on this!!! Highly, highly important!
