Priorities and balancing

Suggestion: To maintain your focus read the entire page first then proceed to the links. Thank you.

People can enjoy many activities but at the same time, they need to remember priorities.  Our top priority is our relationship with the heavenly Father and His kingdom.  This takes communication and that means spending time in PRAYER and reading the BIBLE with APPLICATIONWhen we make the decision to set our priorities in the right order we will enjoy life.

Consider the following verses from God's word.

Matthew 6:33
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." NKJV

Ecclesiastes 3:12
"I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live" RSV

Ecclesiastes 3:22
"So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should enjoy his work" RSV

Ecclesiastes 5:19-20
"Every man also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and find enjoyment in his toil-this is the gift of God."

(1) I believe there is a difference between prioritizing and balancing.

(2) Example: We could have five things rightly prioritized.

(3) However, if we spend three days on the first thing on our list and neglect the others we could get out of balance.

(4) Prioritizing and balancing is not easy but it must be done to be effective.

Listen to the teaching and be ready for some life change.
