Overcome Prayer Focus
Hello, all Royal Prayer Guards and all those who join us!!
Thank you for your availability, faithfulness, and loyalty! Especially now as we face a variety of battles in our country and throughout the world.
This Time in History:
Walk by faith, in this time of history to honor and glorify the heavenly Father through faith, boldness, and peace! (John 15:8)
Walk by faith, as an overcomer in Christ and not be overtaken! (John 16:33)
Walk by faith, in the victory of Jesus! (1 Corinthians 15:57-58)
Walk by faith, in our hope of Jesus for those who have no hope! (1 Peter 1:3-4)
Walk by faith, in the excellent character qualities of Jesus! (1 Peter 2:18-23)
This prayer focus is directed for those in Christ Jesus throughout the world!
1. Many are talking about fear. It is not all about fear but doubt as well. (Genesis 3:1)
2. The doubt involves those in Christ Jesus because they have a measure of faith given to them by God.
(Romans 12:3)
3. Believers are to walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
4. If believers in Christ are not fully convinced that God will do what He said, fear and worry will manifest.
(Romans 4:20-21)
5. The God kind of faith keeps fear and worry out! (Mark 11:22-26, Romans 12:3)
6. Not all people have this faith, it comes through Jesus once a person is born-again. (John 3:3, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 1:22-25)
7. Therefore, our goal as believers in Christ is, maintain a high level of faith to overcome doubt, fear, and worry! Realize that faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17)
8. Keep in mind, that we can be attacked by fear, but a high level of faith will cause us to overcome. Fear is in the world, however, consider the following portion from God's Word.
1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith."
Prayer suggestions:
1. Maintain a high level of faith by hearing God’s Word preached and taught accurately and effectively!
2. Know what Jesus said more than what people are saying.
3. Focus on Jesus, not the negative, doubtful, fearful, worrisome remarks.
4. Be part of the answer, not the problem!
5. Memorize this verse from your favorite Bible translation.
Mark 5:36
"Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing."
6. Keep on believing that God is greater than anything, anyone at any time, anywhere seen or unseen!
7. Visualize God bigger than the problem!
8. Walk by faith, not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Resources to choose from:
It would be wise to take the initiative and prepare now rather than the circumstances dictate that we should pray, read God’s Word with the application.
Initiative vs. Unresponsiveness: Jesus sought out the lost and initiated healing and teaching without waiting to be asked. (Romans 12:21)

Dependability vs. Inconsistency: People could count on His word; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
