5 targets for those in Christ! Plus, the acrostic of E.I.G.H.T.

Hello, all Royal Prayer Guards!

Thank you for your continued prayer efforts. Our time on earth is to be used wisely because the days are evil. Praying is using our time wisely!

Ephesians 5:15-17 RSV
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

Turn old treasures into new treasures!

This prayer focus originated from the audio teaching taught in 2008 and is relevant today for all those in Christ. Also, it is very reassuring!!

Furthermore, this is an example of the Holy Spirit turning old treasures into new treasures for everyone!

Matthew 13:52 (NKJV)
“Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old."

Five Targets are needed daily!

Within the teaching, the following acrostic of E.I.G.H.T. was created.

Synopsis of E.I.G.H.T. (Click the link below for the full audio teaching)

Encouragement (Keep our spiritual life jacket on daily/be conscious of our Lifeguard Jesus Christ)

Intensity (Never flag in zeal/Be Surefooted)

Growth (Increase in the knowledge of God/flourish like a cedar in Lebanon)

Humility (Remember how our achievements came/be ready for more desire and power to do His will)

Time (Make the most of our time, and take pleasure and enjoyment in all our toil/make wise choices)

Treasured Insights:

1. God had a purpose in creation: Specific targets.

2. Jesus had a purpose in His earthly ministry: Specific targets.

3. As a practicing disciple of Jesus Christ Paul had a purpose, a target in every step. He did not run uncertainly without a definite aim.

1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT
“So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.”

1 Corinthians9:26 AMP
“Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.”

4. Therefore, as practicing disciples of Jesus Christ, we should have a purpose, a target in every step with surefootedness.

5. We should not run uncertainly without a definite aim.
