Be the light of the world and the salt of the earth!
Hello once again, faithful, strong, and mighty Royal Prayer Guards and all who join us!!
Thank you for your determination to pray and doing the works of Jesus!
For all those in Christ Jesus. Why? Jesus is working through us providing hope for the world.
Three main points about light:
1. Believers in Christ are to be the light of the world no matter what is happening! "You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14
2. Our light becomes dim if we are in strife with people. “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” James 3:16
3. There are levels of brightness in our life based on our maturity level. (Our choice) “He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.” 1 John 2:10
Suggestions for prayer:
1. Decide to be the light in the darkness. (Psalm 119:30)
2. Dissolve any strife from our life. (Proverbs 20:3)
3. Develop maturity. (Luke 8:14)
Three main points about salt:
1. We are the salt of the earth. “You are the salt of the earth” Matthew 5:13
2. As believers in Christ, our speech is to be with grace seasoned with salt. “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Colossians 4:6
3. As believers in Christ, we ought to maintain flavor. "Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?” Luke 14:34
Suggestions for prayer:
1. Preserve our surroundings by copying Jesus. (Mark 4:35-41)
2. Patiently speak to others. (1 Thessalonians 5:14)
3. Produce a godly flavor toward others. (Psalm 119:103)
