Prayers for returning soldiers_Honor, respect and support our troops
Testimony:
Upon my return from Vietnam, I had a lot of healing and readjustment to do from my physical wounds. However, my greatest challenge was healing from all the wounds in my heart. War leaves many ugly scars-memories of friends being wounded or killed and many other tormenting memories. These are wounds that only God can heal. I am so grateful that I am able to make peace with my past through the saving grace of my Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that our returning service men and women will also find God's peace.

Prayer # 1
Dear heavenly Father, we lift up our returning service men and women before You. We ask You to help them with their readjustment back to the world. We pray that they are filled with Your peace. Father, may Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Thank You, Father, that they have Jesus' gift of peace and that their heart will not be troubled nor be afraid. As we intercede on their behalf, we thank You Father that You will honor them and show them Your salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
