Calm, quiet, and peaceful soul
Hello, all Royal Prayer Guards and all those who join us!!
Thank you for working together as a team and being united with the Lord as we pray for others.
Many people today are not calm, nor quiet, and have no peace. They are struggling, hurting, confused, troubled, and seeking answers. The answer is Jesus Christ, “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”
(John 14:6, Revelation 19:16)
This prayer focus is directed to those in Christ Jesus. Why?
If we are not calm, quiet, and have a peaceful soul, how can we help others who are not calm, quiet, and peaceful! (Luke 6:41-42)
Our goals in this prayer focus:
1. Cause those in Christ to be calm, quiet, and peaceful.
2. Provide answers for those lacking good sleep, experiencing nagging thoughts, disturbed and worried.
3. Allow people to enter our peace, rather than to enter their panic.
Key verses:
Psalm 131:2
“But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a child quieted at its mother's breast; like a child that is quieted is my soul.” (RSV)
Isaiah 26:3
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” KJV
