Stick to God’s word and prevent sticky problems!

Hello, all Royal Prayer Guards!

I pray all is well as we continue to be dependable in God’s agenda of effective prayer. Thank you for your diligence and endurance.

Origin of this prayer focus.

This prayer focus came to the surface from the audio teaching,
“Ever Full of Sap” Part 7. Click here. Audio teaching.

Why this prayer focus?

To prevent Christians from causing unnecessary hardships, trials, persecutions, and stickiness in their life.

The purpose for believers in Christ!

Stick to God’s word and prevent unnecessary sticky problems. In other words, love, obey and cleave to Him daily, not just when things get difficult.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (RSV) (L.O.C. ON)
19  I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live,
20  loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice, and cleaving to him; for that means life to you and length of days, that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

Insights related to this focus:

I am relating God's word to SAP found in Psalm 92. (Sap is a substance)

If we place our fingers or hands on the sap of a maple tree, it is sticky.

However, the sap is sticky only when we pull away or separate one finger from the other.

Therefore, when those in Christ hear or read God’s word and do not obey, they are pulling away from God's word (SAP) and causing unnecessary sticky problems.

When we obey God's word (SAP) there will be no stickiness because we have fused our self to Him and His word.

Keep in mind. There are times when those in Christ will face sticky problems. However, we need to avoid unnecessary sticky problems created by our own wrongdoing.

Suggestions for prayer and application:

7. Memorize Psalm 92:14-15.

Psalm 92:14-15 (RSV)
14 They still bring forth fruit in old age, they are ever full of sap and green,
15 to show that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
